@213gngstr I wonder why all the time Android and iOS people try to struggle and say which is better, wake up people we are the users so just go get your fucking favorite phone and enjoy it! stop this shit.
@26:05 50 Cent is one of his contacts. Business moves right there.
Google and its Android division should watch the Simon Sinek video on the golden circle. Android can sell you on the “what” which is this entire video: fast processing, graphics, camera, etc., but Apple sells the “why.” Sinek compares the Wright Brothers and Charles Langley. While Langley had the all the resources for powered flight including an engine with four times more horsepower, the brothers who owned a bicycle shop from Dayton, Ohio were the first to fly. Why? is the passion behind it.
@213gngstr You mean what else is android gonna copy?
@cgaWolf I know Duarte was head of UI over at Palm. My point was the all these elements of iOS, WP7, and WebOS have been “borrowed” by Android. It’d be nice to see Android have an original thought but it’s not in their DNA. Yes Duarte got hired by Google so WebOS elements are to be expected but what about iOS and WP7?
The video quality is awful :-/
@Inquisitor32 Your dictatorship comment is very funny indeed because your executions are of a marketing ploy to brainwash me into the droid market. You’re a hypocrite without knowing it. Apple offers me full support in hardware and software and Android lacks this. I want my OS to be of simplicity as I do have other hobbies in life. The Nexus failed three times in it’s presentation which leaves me in much doubt. It doesn’t matter who copies who, Apple just does it better! Sorry,but it’s my taste
Obviously a name thought up when they were high!
R&D Guy #1 “Dude.. I’m so high… I’m dying for some ice cream!!”
R&D Guy #2 “Dude I know, but we need to get our work done. What are we calling this thing?”
R&D Guy #1 “Dude… ICE CREAM SANDWICH!”
R&D Guy #2 SWEET!”
Because this video has a resolution so low? even 480? I loved the 4.0 “

lmao, another “Apple Fanboy” in denial… the only reason you bought Apple is because you fell into their clever marketing strategies.. look up “herd mentality”… as soon as you realise that everyone you know will eventually switch to Android, you will make the switch too. Its a bit like only ever supporting the team that wins, once they start loosing, you will jump ship, as this is already proven in “social proofing” and “behavioural science!” google it, please!
“Bruce Almighty„ Apple stole these ideas and made them better LMFAO So much clutter no wonder those Android phones need such massive screens. Ice cream sandwich so many calories think I will stick with my Apple diet thank you very much! P.s. Morgan Freeman looked better in his suit!
Better than windows phone!!
Well at least its
Android is better. IOS is still good, just not nearly as good as android

Ok, that’s cool…. however the original iPhone OS (if you mean UI with icons on the screen that open up applications when touched etc) was based purely on the Palm “Tungsten” Series… specifically the T3 running Palm OS back in 2004-2006 way before Apple even went to market with iPod Touch and iPhone.. so the physics and apps look more like the Palm T3 not iPhone… People seem to think Apple invented this concept, but they didn’t. They took it, the same way as Android have.
@Inquisitor32
well it just seems like the whole interface is pretty similar. the physics of it and the way the apps look
Since this whole Apple vs “the rest of the technological world” battle, it’s significantly opened up my eyes to just how uneducated and naive the vast majority of these “fanboys” really are. When I research deeper into everything that Apple have apparently “invented” I find other companies that have already accomplished the technology beforehand only for Apple to come along and brand as their own through effective marketing strategies… +
…. For example; “Palm” and their “Tungsten” series. The Tungsten T3 had already successfully deployed the Palm OS, with user interface of icons on the screen that launched applications when touched… (apps that open when touched huh? Sound familiar “Fanboys”) This was way in advance of the iPod Touch or iPhone was even invented and yet “fanboys” seem to think “Steve Jobs” came up with this concept!.. +
…… I will say this to all you “fanboys”…. before you start attacking other brands for so called “theft” of ideas etc, look deeper into your own beloved Apple history and you will find plenty of “stolen” ideas from other companies that didn’t have the financial resources to take on such a powerhouse corporation like “Apple”… +
….. Don’t even get me started on “Drop Down Notification” or “Voice Recognition” among a huge list of other ideas “Apple” have STOLEN from Android and many other developers… but you see, the irony is, this is how innovation and the evolution of technology works. You take someone’s idea and make it better. So stop bickering that everyone else has stolen “apples” ideas because it BS!
@RaijilajneN
And “fanboys” are a just a bunch of kind, considerate bloggers huh? Please, we are both as bad as each other lol
@Georgeal40
Apple user here…. wow what a fantastic looking OS with an amazing… no wait… fantastic UI!! I’m so happy finally Android have the complete package and I can’t wait for my contract to end next month so I can defect from this crappy, boring iPhone that’s just the same old same old every release! Well done Android, you have opened my eyes to the dark side!! lol
@stretch90
you say Android took a lot from the original iPhone OS… like what?
honestly I love android phones, and definitely prefer them over iphones but android did take a lot from the original iphone’s os.
But now it really does seem like android is contuing to innovate where Apple hasn’t done much new since the original phone besides siri.
