@ksc6000 Most dualcores around the corner are trash (Tegra 2….)
Does the Google Maps App not have the same functionality on any phone, even non-Android phones? Or are these just an Android-specific features, or Nexus S-specific features?
Not true. Navigation worked great on my Nexus 1 while I was traveling in France last summer.
So….. Google got Samsung (a current competitor) to make them a phone that will compete with there own phones that run on Google’s operating system AND gave them there new technology that will further devalue there current phones. WTF ?
@EpicXXProductions AN Awesome Epic Word that is
Just 1 Word. IPhone.
I use Google Maps on my G1 everywhere I go, It’s fun to watch it, even if you already know where you’re going
@ksc6000 spamming every video?
@ksc6000n 1) 16gb storage is more than enough, there is no reason to put all your pron movie in the phone,
2)5 mp and 480p is more than enough, do u know how big a 10 min 720p movie 1gb.
3)512 Ram is enough,do u know sense ui use 200mb ram?
4)notification led is useless, if u want to know any message why dont u turn it on?
5)as you say dual core are around the corner, the means you dont have it, right?
6)HSPA+ is not necessary, 4g are around the corner, right?
when did the Nexus S coming to hong kong?
Does map spin around with compass like iphone and hd desire?? Or does blue icon just rotate?
@lucasjohny navigation has already rolled out to Australia and New Zealand cause I’ve used it so soon they’ll have it. But my Locations app on my Desire Z still owns.
1)No SD Card slot, only ONE GB out of 16 set aside for apps???
2)Only 5 Megapixel Camera with no 720P recording (same or less than all current androids)
3)Only 512 MB of RAM (same or less than all current androids)
4)No notification light for messages/missed calls??????????????
5) Only 1 GHz processor when dual core processors are around the corner?
6) No HPSA+ ?
And you want us to pay $530 before taxes for this?! Get out. I’ll keep my Nexus One.
@lucasjohny When did he say that navigation was available worldwide?
dare to claim worldwide navigation, just bull shit, navigation only available to US. Shame on you google…..
@IVIentos @IVIentos Every corporation is anti competition because they exist to make as much money as they possibly can. That’s a terrible argument.
And yeah Android is open source, it’s a shame you still have to hack most of the handsets to root them, exactly as you have to with the iPhone. So much for freedom.
Linux/open source nerds. The worst nerds.
Hi Ken. Please remove the redundant and ridiculous +and- zoom buttons from Google Maps (and the Browser and Gallery for that matter). At this point, with multi-touch zoom, it’s just embarrassing.

Google isn’t anti competition like Apple.
Apple just can’t believe that there are other companies out there in the world.
Oh and BTW, Android is open source. =)
to be honest, iphone 4 is just more fluent and has faster animations.
