The base data of the map you are looking at could have been updated in the past couple of days in time those updates will be instantaneous. The data layered on maps has also changed. No longer is it expected that data will be siloed or have restricted access. In addition to being realtime data is increasingly open and available for all to use. This is especially true when a community has been called on to create a dataset for an application. The combination of almost-realtime maps and open data have enabled mobile applications.

b4 my n82 use map updater from map 2.0 to 3.0,but after my phone update v35 firmware,can’t update my maps to 3.0,bcos after update firmware my phone go back to 2.o…………how ?can help????
@nikeplr that is so true…when is nokia going to come up with this for n95…. it is their flagship product for god’s sake……. they say that they are trying to make it available to all phones but when……… does it take that long to make a f**king software to work on a smart phone

I m trying it and the navigation is very poor, the route it tells me is too inaccurate, it needs few years to be perfect calculation of route.

No maps for Panama City. Bad!
Nokia Maps 2.0 was better when had Teleatlas database instead of Navteq new one, because Teleatlas has a lot of info all over the map, like village names and so on. Navteq only shows rodas except in mayor cities.
i dont have ovi maps anymore on my phone, its a n97. Is there any way i could get it back, cause now i have the old nokia maps. Some one please help.
